Dates To Remember:
-Performing Packages are past due! If you want to perform, these must be paid by December 15th! (see "Performing.Packages" blog post for package information)

-We will be having Christmas parties the week of Dec 16-20

       *Wear: your pajamas!

       *Bring: your favorite treat to share! (completely optional!)

-Christmas Break: no classes Dec 21st - January 5th! 

       *We will have classes Friday Dec 20th

-December tuition is the regular amount.

Company.Hair&Make-up.Instructions

Company Hair Style Instructions

Step 1: We will be doing a single braid (not French Braid) in the center of the head leading back to a high ponytail. Please make a part leading from the center of each eyebrow, and make it 1 inch thick (depth wise) from the hairline. After you have that square piece of hair, hairspray it so there are no fly a way’s and braid it.

Step 2: Slick all of the hair and the single braid into a high ponytail on the top center of the head. **Use LOTS of hair spray! SLICK, SLICK, SLICK!! Did I mention LOTS of hairspray?!? (You can use hair gel, but I don’t prefer it because it gets too sticky.)

Step 3: Straighten the ponytail so it is VERY straight!

Step 4: Wrap the jeweled hair tie around the ponytail so the jewels are facing the front!

Step 5: Just hairspray the whole head one more time to make sure there are no fly a way’s!

Step 6: Sprinkle/spray glitter all over! You can purchase spray glitter from Groove, or just sprinkle your own glitter over the hair.

Company Eye Make-Up Instructions

Step 1: Apply the #1 color all over the eye lid and up into the crease, but not completely to the brow. 

Step 2: Apply the #2 color into the crease. 

Step 3: Continue with the #2 color and apply along the outer half of the eye lid, just across the lash line. 

Step 4: Connect the color in the crease with the color along lash line forming a point at the outer corner of they eye. 

Step 5: Apply the #3 color to the inner corners of the ye lid and right under the brow. 

Sept 6: Line the upper lash line with black eyeliner (I recommend gel or liquid.)

Step 7: Line and lower lash line lightly with black eyeliner (pencil) or the #2 color. 

Step 8: Apply the crystal glitter onto the lid only, not up into the crease. Keep eyes closed until dry!

Step 9: Mascara and/or fake eyelashes. (No fake eyelashes for Petite, Hotshots or Superstars.)

Company Make-Up Instructions

Step 1: Apply foundation/base all over the face (be sure to blend the foundation into the neck so there is not a distinct line!) 

Step 2: Apply the eye make-up (follow the "Eye Make-Up Instructions" listed above)

Step 3: Apply blush. 

Step 4: Apply glitter lips (these can be purchased at Groove Dancewear)

Step 5: Feel free to add extra glitter on the cheek bones! The more glitter the better:)

Performing.Packages

RECITAL AND PERFORMING DANCERS

     

The performing package prices are listed below. This includes dancers costume, recital fee and Lagoon Performance fee. Performing is OPTIONAL. It is a great way to showcase all your hard work for the year.

     

All dancers (Kindergarten and up) that want to perform are required to attend the Lagoon Performance (May 3^rd) and perform in the recital at Olympus High Schools new Performing Arts Stage (May 9^th). Remember, you MUST participate at Lagoon AND the recital in order to perform.  It is too hard for teachers and students to re-space routines. All combo classes age 2 ½ -5 will perform only in the recital at Olympus.

*Tights and shoes need to be purchased on your own at GROOVE DANCEWEAR.  Colors and styles will be emailed out in the next few months.

*All payments due Nov 1st.  Costume payments received after this will have an additional $10 charge and will not be guaranteed here before the Spring Performances. Ship dates are 16 weeks out.

*Please let us know if you are not performing.

*Reminder that tumbling and technique classes do not perform.

*These prices are PER DANCER. Each dancer pays a package price.
